This policy (together with our Terms of Use) sets out the basis on which personal data we collect from you is processed. For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”), the data controller is SaySomethingGood Ltd of Flat 9, 393 Liverpool Road, London, N11NP and our nominated representative is Tim Martin (tim@saysomethinggood.com).

Information collected - We may collect and use data you provide on www.saysomethinggood.com and the mobile, facebook and other extensions thereto (together the “Site”) including information given when registering for or using the Site.

IP addresses and cookies - We may collect information about your computer for Site administration and advertisers; this includes, but is not limited to, your IP address. Advertising data is aggregated into statistical data and does not identify any individual. Similarly, we may obtain information using cookies about your internet usage. Cookies help us to deliver a better Site, estimate our audience size and usage and store information about your preferences and customise the Site to your interests. You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the relevant setting on your browser, however, if you to this you may be unable to access certain parts of the Site. Certain of our advertisers may also use cookies, over which we have no control.

Where we store your personal data - Data we collect may be transferred to, and stored outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of orders and the provision of support. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this processing. We take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Site and transmission is at your own risk.

Uses made of the information - We use information held about you (i) to ensure that content from the Site is presented in the most effective way, (ii) where you agreed, to provide you with information or services that you request or which we feel may interest you, (iii) to carry out our contractual duties, and (iv) to allow you to use the Site.

To notify you about changes to our service - If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about services similar to those which have been provided on previous occasions. We do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to our advertisers, but we may provide them with aggregate information about our users and use such information for targeting.

Disclosure of your information - We may disclose your personal information to third parties: In the event that we sell any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the buyer or prospective buyer. If we are under a duty to share data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, or others including fraud protection.

Your rights - You have the right to ask us not to process your data for marketing purposes which you can exercise by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data or by contacting us. Our site may at times contain links with partner websites which have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies.

Access to information - The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs.

Changes to our privacy policy - Any changes to this policy will be posted here or notified by e-mail.
